2025: Week 38
dissociation as a life skill
Notes from the day
Mon, Sep 15
just vibin' amidst the chaos that is a nine to five ✨
Tue, Sep 16
Reading Anthony Bourdain’s still-active tumblr account is like stepping off the grid or taking a smoke break from the corporate grind.
Wed, Sep 17
Started the day talking to our 11-year-old about candies shaped in the form of testicles of a unicorn.
Thu, Sep 18
The inclusive restroom, which is more spacious, was occupied when I got to the office so I had to change in one of the cubicles in the men’s restroom. Dude in the next stall was taking a meeting at 8:40 in the morning which, I’ve come to realize, is simply business as usual around here.
Ending the day at 2:30am on a Friday. 😮💨
Fri, Sep 19
Daughter got confined and we’ve been living in the hospital for two days now. The lack of vending machines for those late night cravings is appalling.
Sat, Sep 20
Ordered a salad for dinner as our 11-year-old has been complaining we’ve been eating unhealthily the past couple of days.
Sun, Sep 21
Walked 12,000 steps to join a rally protesting the blatant corruption happening in our government.
