Read this afternoon: Once it was safe to say “I don’t know,” problem-solving sped up.
At home and at work, providing psychological safety is key.

The best thing about buying a phone that’s two models late is everything is 40 to 50% cheaper while not being far off from the latest model in terms of performance.
Mind you, this was the “most powerful iPhone” just a year and a couple of months ago.
It would be good to take a pause and ask ourselves if we’re purchasing these gadgets for utility or status.

What makes a person a lifer or decide to become a lifer? Is it a conscious choice to stay in the same organization for 10, 20 years? Or does it have more to do with settling—staying within what’s comfortable?
Someone suggested that I could become one and given my longest stay in a company was 4 years and some change, the thought terrified me.

Walked 9,000 steps today as I shuttled between the office and the hospital.

One should be able to eat calamari with rice for lunch without being given a weird look.

Our daughter told me she started watching Moon Knight and have been enjoying it. I had no knowledge about it—didn’t even realize it was part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—so the first thought I blurted out was, “moon night is the opposite of Sunday,” to which my daughter gave an affirming chuckle.

Administering IV to my wife who’s recovering from UTI. The correct measurements and the exact order of steps to be done speaks to my soul. This is the kind of work I enjoy—if only my wife’s health didn’t depend on me getting things right
